- The On demand Hot Water Pump is connected to the hot water supply line at the furthest fixture from the water heater, and then connected to the cold water supply line.
- The On demand Hot Water Pump uses the cold water supply line as the return loop to the water heater.
- A motion sensor or activation button is installed at any plumbing fixture to wirelessly activate the On demand Hot Water Pump.
- The temperature sensor in the On demand Hot Water Pump shuts it off when hot water reaches it.
